We are just leaving winter and it is starting to be spring in Brazil. The weather is usually between 50 and 80. Although lately it has been colder and very windy. I have stayed inside listening to my shuffle and studying Portuguese. Tia Helena and I went to the mall for a cappuccino the other day. I love capuccinos!

On the international flight I was allowed two checked bags, one carry on and one personal item. I brought a trunk and one big suitcase with wheels weighing 50lbs each. I also had my hiking pack and my laptop bag with me, both stuffed with many books and papers and stationary. Next Tuesday I am flying with a national company that only allows me to have a total of 50lbs checked luggage and carry on only 5lbs. This presents a problem weighing in at over 50lbs. For the past few days I have been resorting, repacking and preparing the books/paper to mail. I plan to leave my trunk with some things at the Leme's house in Serra Negra. I'll be coming back to flight out in June and maybe in February with my mom. ;)
